NINA STERN – successful author / singer / actor / TV presenter – has been a Lyoness customer and business partner for over 2 years.
NINA STERN was born and raised near Regensburg (Germany), and always wanted to go her own way. From the age of 4, Nina was already using her hairbrush as a microphone, and the extraordinary artist, who stands out from all the rest, knew that the stage was her world.
Nina has lived in Burgenland, Austria since she was about 10 years old, and it was from there that she started her unbelievable career.
In 2005, she created media attention for her exceptional project „Don’t look away, we are the future“. For the first in German music, a song was created describing the problems in the 3rd world, with a background choir consisting of 6 Africans from different countries, and was shown on big Eurovision TV broadcasts, along with other traditional German music.
Together with world stars such as Albert Hammond („It never rains in Southern California“), Nubya, Peter Maffay and PUR, Nina and her choir were star guests in the ZDF-Stargala in aid of help for world hunger. A short time later, Nina had her debut as an actress beside Harald Krasnitzer in the ARD/ORF series “The Wineking”. Even then, an extraordinary song – for an extraordinary project – brought Nina her breakthrough into the media world.
Over the next few years, there were many TV shows where Nina starred as a singer or as the presenter, and she has also had her own TV shows.
Lyoness CEO Hubert Freidl first met Nina in Autumn 2009 whilst she was presenting her CD (Album: “30”), and asked her to write a song for the Foundation.
With „The Miracle of Lyoness“ the singer accurately addressed the idea of Hubert Freidl and the Child & Family Foundation.
This song is the result of many ideas and creative exchanges. Together with the composers Martin Kohler (Switzerland) and Tom Schwarzmann (Austria), Nina Stern packed her words into a magical musical package. This song, which is packed with emotion and motivation, lets us think of a world without hunger and worries.
TOGETHER WE ARE STRONG – the Lyoness philosophy – could, thanks to this song and its composers, become a musical reality!
